Verzamelalbum `En Mi Piel` van de Spaanse flamenco (fusion) zangeres Concha Buika met op de bonus (tweede) CD o.a. een live-opname van haar optreden op het North Sea Jazz Festival wat zij eerder dit jaar 2011 gaf te beluisteren.
Born in 1972 in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, she is the daughter of political refugees from the African nation of Equatorial Guinea. She made her full-length recording debut with Buika (2005). She collaborated with accomplished producer Javier Limón for her second album, Mi Nina Lola (2006). She collaborated with Limón again for her third album, Nina de Fuego (2008), which garnered a Latin Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. And in 2009 she made an album with Cuban Irakere pianist Chucho Valdes.
En Mi Piel is a 2-CD set featuring Buika`s greatest recordings from her first four studio projects. Two previously unrealeased tracks are included from Almodovar`s 2011 film La Piel Que Habito.
