Reissue of the 1968 album of boogaloo by Herbie Oliviero and his band.
Herbie, a native of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, began his musical career in New York City, in 1959, when he began taking trumpet lessons in his spare time. After six years of playing with various Latin bands throughout the city, he felt it was time for him to put together his ideas and create his own sound in his own style. Now, three years later, all of his hard work and devotion have been put on tape and are available for the public to listen to and enjoy.
