Don`t call Dominican rapper Papi Sanchez a reggaeton artist. Although Sanchez raps in Spanish, working the mic over Latin-inflected rhythms, his productions are far from the seismic, sternum-rattling beats that compose the backing tracks for many of his Latin rap contemporaries. Instead, Sanchez draws inspiration from more vintage dance music.
