This Cuban band, led by Angel and Jesus Chappottin, is the current aggregation of the infamous Conjunto Chappottin, formerly El Gran Conjunto de Arsenio Rodriguez. This great band was initiated after Arsenio Rodriguez left to the United States in 1949, and trumpeter Felix Chappotin took over the helm. This recording is an absolute gem and should be considered a "must-have." It smokes from beginning to end.
